When we calmed down we allowed ourselves to acknowledge that "THIS PROPERTY" referred not specifically to the ugly little white building, but also to the surrounding lands.
A convenient illusion is maintained that someone "owns" this land, and whoever they are, they seem to be intent on keeping it unspoiled (with one rather obvious exception!) and open to the public. We can’t argue with that, but as we were laughing for days, we have decided to make it into a work of ‘found art’.Here’s a basic map, if you want to visit it:
