When a landlord painted pink one of the student houses on Psychogeographers’ Row in Exeter, someone, one night, added yellow spots to create the full Mister Blobby effect.
The actual home of Mister Blobby – who was a large ‘skin’ used on a UK ‘entertainment’ programme – was called Crinkley Bottom and is now a derelict ruin at Cricket St Thomas.
